What is the change?

Nepal will restrict the entry of all travelers from the UK as first port of call or transit until further notice.

Notice regarding temporary shutdown of visa services

What is the change?

The Government has decided to extend the ongoing lockdown period until 2 June 2020. The Department of Immigration also suspended all its visa services until 2 June 2020, and requests all foreigners in Nepal to remain patient regardless of their visa term. The visas will be regulated after regular services resume, as per the 8 April 2020 notice issued by the Department of Immigration.

Notice regarding temporary shutdown of visa services

What is the change?

The Government has decided to extend the ongoing lockdown period until 18 May 2020, as well as suspend all international flights until 31 May 2020. The Department of Immigration will also suspend all its visa services until 18 May 2020, and requests all foreigners in Nepal to remain patient regardless of their visa term. The visas will be regulated after regular services resume, as per the 8 April 2020 notice issued by the Department of Immigration.

Notice regarding temporary shutdown of visa services

What is the change?

The ongoing lockdown period has been extended until 7 May 2020, and the international border will remain closed until 13 May 2020. All international flights will also be suspended until 15 May 2020.

The Department of Immigration will suspend all visa services until 7 May 2020, and requests foreigners in Nepal to remain patient regardless of their visa term. The visas will be regulated after regular services resume, as per the 8 April 2020 notice issued by the Department of Immigration.

Temporary shutdown of visa services

What is the change?

The Government of Nepal decided on 14 April 2020 to extend the ongoing lockdown period and suspend all front door services until 27 April 2020 to control the COVID-19 outbreak in Nepal. The Department of Immigration also suspends all its visa services during the aforementioned period, and requests foreigners in Nepal to remain patient regardless of their visa term. The visas will be regulated after regular services resume, as per the 8 April 2020 notice issued by the Department of Immigration.
